About Ad Hoc PA

Achieve Work-Life Balance with Expert Virtual Assistance

Ad Hoc Virtual Assistant

Hi, I’m Michelle, and I founded Ad Hoc PA in March 2019.

My ‘why’ is quite simple “to create a happier, healthier work-life balance for myself and my young family.” My mission is to help my clients achieve the same balance, save time and become more productive because life shouldn’t be a struggle.

We all deserve the freedom to do more of what we love and love what we do in our business.

Michelle’s Experience

Ad Hoc Personal Assistant UK

With over 25 years of experience working as an Office Manager and Personal Assistant, I specialise in both traditional and technical business support services. My extensive background includes roles as an Executive Assistant to Chairs, Directors, and Senior Management Teams across the private sector, local government, and Charitable Trusts.

I provide reliable and confidential business support services, including event planning, travel scheduling, diary and email management, minute taking, research, document creation, content writing, website and social media management and much more….

In the last decade, I have gained experience using and administrating various popular social media and digital collaboration platforms. I regularly work on WordPress to update and edit existing websites, use email marketing tools such as Mailchimp to create newsletters and e-bulletins, and use digital forms to generate customer insights and feedback.

I have extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, which are essential for enhancing collaboration and managing projects effectively. I can help create polished documents—such as reports and presentations—that clearly convey your message.

Additionally, I offer customised training sessions to help you and your team fully utilise these applications. From mastering Excel for data analysis to using Google Docs for real-time collaboration, my goal is to empower your team to boost productivity and streamline workflows.

Furthermore, I have experience with content creation and copywriting, making me a valuable asset for your social media and marketing needs. I can help create engaging posts and campaigns that will attract potential customers and increase brand awareness.

In the modern world, we have access to a wide range of productivity tools and software that can help automate systems and processes, saving time and reducing workload. I have experience in implementing new digital technology and artificial intelligence tools (AI) such as Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Chat GPT to make life easier and more efficient.

Alongside my technical skills, I am deeply driven, well-organised, and proactive. Possessing strong communication, multitasking and time management skills. I value meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality work promptly. My core strengths include fostering robust client relationships, adapting to varied settings, effective problem-solving, and quick mastery of new business processes.

I take pleasure in helping others grow their business, increase their online presence, and lighten the administrative burden so they can concentrate on their profession and do more of what they love.

So whether you need assistance with creating eye-catching documents, or developing a strong online presence, we can work together towards achieving your business goals.

Creative Background

Creative Assistance - social media and design

I have a creative background and a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Applied Art. I began my career as a ceramicist and then spent nearly 10 years working as a personal assistant in the museum and art gallery sector. This experience sparked a special interest in history, culture, and heritage.

I enjoy living in Cumbria, right on the doorstep of the Lake District. I spend my free time exploring the local countryside, tending to my garden and pottering in my potting shed. I enjoy attending music festivals and events as well as developing my professional skills through webinars, workshops, and evening classes to further explore my digital and creative interests. Most importantly, I cherish making memories with my family and friends.
