Hi, I’m Michelle, and I founded Ad Hoc PA in March 2019.
My ‘why’ is quite simple “to create a happier, healthier work-life balance for myself and my young family.” My mission is to help my clients achieve the same balance, save time and become more productive because life shouldn’t be a struggle.
We all deserve the freedom to do more of what we love and love what we do in our business.

With over 25 years of experience working as an Office Manager and Personal Assistant, I specialise in both traditional and technical business support services. My extensive background includes roles as an Executive Assistant to Chairs, Directors, and Senior Management Teams across the private sector, local government, and Charitable Trusts.
I can provide reliable and confidential business support services, including event planning, travel scheduling, diary and email management, minute-taking, research, document creation, content writing, website and social media management, and much more…
I’m passionate about helping businesses grow their online presence and reduce administrative burdens, enabling them to focus on their core work. Whether you need impactful documents or a strong online presence, Ad Hoc PA is here to help you achieve your goals.

With a creative background and a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Applied Art. I began my career as a ceramicist and then spent nearly 10 years working as a personal assistant in the museum and art gallery sector. This experience sparked a special interest in history, culture, and heritage.
Living in Cumbria, near the Lake District, offers abundant opportunities to explore the beautiful local countryside. My free time is spent walking, reading, tending to my houseplants and garden, enjoying music and festivals, chasing light, nature, landscapes, and art!

Ad Hoc PA became an approved member of the Society of Virtual Assistants in May 2019, which aims to raise awareness, promote best practices and support the UK Virtual Assistant industry. To find out more, visit: www.societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk
